Has Anyone Stayed at the Hotel Ballard?

This Ballard Gossip Girl has a friend coming into town in September and is looking for a room. I know the restored Hotel Ballard is now open but has anyone stayed there yet?

I would love to hear your comments or recommendations. I am so excited that we have a hotel in our hometown now.

Have a great weekend readers!

I'm putting my old man up there... but that's not until late November. The pics in MyBallard seemed pretty nice though.

My mom and aunt are coming in town next month, and we spotted the hotel right before the grand opening party. A couple of weeks ago I stopped in to look at the rooms for "mom approval" and had a nice young lady walk me through the building. Each room is slightly different from the next, and all of them incorporate handmade pieces of furniture (bed posts, headwalls, beautiful leather wrapped mirrors). About half of the rooms have bathrooms while the rest share common ones located on each floor. Anyway, they wanted to be in the front facing the street so Room #201 is the large room on the second floor corner above the sign. It was really nice inside, very clean, and the access couldn't be better. I think they would be very happy staying there..

Are we ever happy there's a hotel in Ballard now. We'll be putting up out-of-town guests there. Yeah!

Anyone worried about bedbugs, considering the building's history?

Hello, Hotel Ballard was completely renovated and restored in 2011, featuring 16 intimate rooms. Rates range anywhere from $79 for a single bed, to $229 for a Deluxe King, with private bath. This boutique hotel is beautiful! www.hotelballard.com
